Cheat:

When used improperly, this trick can get your character

stuck. This bug takes advantage of task switching and

generally requires another active window (i.e. a folder

or notepad) to be open. Using this trick, the character

can walk through walls, bushes, and water. Although he

cannot walk through key holes, the character can easily

walk though the walls/water/bushes that surround the

key holes.

1. Press and hold the alt key.

2. Press and hold an arrow key.

3. Tap (and release) the tab key.

4. Release the arrow key (this step is not really necessary).

5. Release the alt key when the trick is completed. You may

need to switch back to the game window by pressing alt+tab

or clicking the game window in the start menu.

6. Steps 2 and 3 must be executed before the character touches

the territory that you are attempting to cross through.

teeth) your will be extra health and an extra high bounce where you use Rodney friend

as a trampoline!

Half-pipe holes:

On the "Half-Pipe" thing when you are rolling around, you can fly over the holes in the

side by going as fast as you can and jump over the side with the hole.

Beat Ratchet's robots:

----------------------

When you get to Ratchet's huge robots with big blue eyes, try to destroy as many of them as

you can. Wait until one of the robots' eyes open up and turn blue. Shoot the blue eye before

it closes back up with one shot. The next part is much more difficult. You must battle

Ratchet on top of his machines. Be careful -- he can do three moves: order his robots to

attack you, throw a bomb at you (which you can shoot to destroy), and jump from one robot

to another. When he stops on a robot, shoot him quickly.

Do this process a few more times and he will be defeated.

General Strategies:

This guide explains how things should be done in Tiberian Dawn.

This includes base buildup and management, defense setup, achievement of combat

leadership and attacks on hostile bases.

The first thing you will have to do is to build your base.

I recommend the following scheme of building your base:

Power Plant

Barracks/Hand of Nod

Tiberium Refinery

Advanced Power Plant

Weapons Factory/Airstrip

Communications Center

Service Depot

Weapons Factory/Airstrip

Advanced Power Plant

Tiberium Refinery and several Tiberium Silos

Advanced Communications Center or Temple of Nod

Several Helicopter Pads

Base defensive perimeter

While building all this, keep in mind the following tips:

1. Build several defensive structures once you already have something to protect.

2. Place Tiberium Refineries close to Tiberium fields so you harvest Tiberium faster.

3. Always build a second Harvester for each refinery.

4. Surround your vital structures, such as the Construction Yard, with walls if the enemy is

likely to send Engineers.

5. Place your Airstrips closer to the eastern side of your base so cargo is delivered faster.

6. Make sure you protect your Weapons Factory properly, because it is very vulnerable.

7. Don't build too many Tiberium Silos, because you are likely to spend money faster than

you get Tiberium in quantities required to store.

8. Build your Helicopter Pads close to each other so your aircraft attack enemy targets altogether.

9. While building your defensive perimeter, don't make the passages too tight so your army can

get out of the base, but don't make them too wide either, so the enemy cannot rush into your base.

Besides, make sure there are no weak points in your perimeter.

Now that you have your base up and running, attend to the battles around it. I recommend sending

out scouts and revealing a large portion of the map so you are always aware of what your enemy is

doing. Besides, always keep medium strength groups on the major routes to your base so they engage

the attacking enemy first.Another important thing is to engage the enemy where you want and not where

the enemy wants. If your units are faster, hit and run the enemy force until you bring them to your

chosen point. If your units are slower but have more firepower, either try to surround the enemy, or

move your whole army in a single tight group against the enemy force.

What regards choosing places to fight your enemy -- if your opponent has fewer vehicles than you

(quantity is important), try moving through tight places and then coming around, blocking the enemy in

the valley and methodically destroying it. If you don't have many vehicles, try withdrawing to the entrance

into your base, because then the enemy will have to engage more hostiles, including your defensive structures.

If you are trying to attack the enemy and he sends out a group of units to counter you, try doing one of

the following things: if you have units with superior range, try bombarding enemy units from afar, forcing

them either to withdraw, or to approach you. If your units have no long-range weapons, but some of them have

a high speed, launch a high-speed assault into the enemy base to distract the enemy, and then move in your

heavy armor.

Recommended weapons:

Do not waste money on safe houses. You can make it fine with just the

ones you get in the story. Instead, save money for clothing and weapons.

All the best weapons cost a lot but are well worth it.

The Saturday Night Special is a better revolver and it will cost $75,000.

The Assassin's Pistol is better gun and costs about $200,000.

The Python a better magnum will cost $250,000.

The Dillinger is a machine gun that costs $450,000.

Finally, the Street Sweeper, which works like a shotgun, sells for

$500,000 and will kill most people in one shot.

No heat when stealing cars:

Reach the "Underboss" rank to have no heat when a parked car is stolen.

Car chases:

-----------

When you are being pursued by enemies in a car, let them drive up on your side. Usually

they will come up near your rear on your left or right. Then, look ahead and lure them

into an accident. Usually they will smash into something like oncoming traffic or a wall

if you time it correctly. They will eventually come back and catch up to you, but if you

keep doing this you can get them to blow themselves up (because you cannot shoot out your

car at them).

Losing police quickly:

----------------------

If you commit a lot of damage and kill a lot of people, you will get wanted stars. If you

get enough stars, the police will chase and shoot you. To lose them, just move to a

different area. All of your stars will immediately go away.

Ammunition:

-----------

All the safe houses that you pay for have ammo caches. When low on ammunition or health,

you can go into these houses and restock. They are the orange houses on the map, and most

are in hotels.

Easy special kills:

-------------------

On missions where you have to kill an important figure in a certain way (such as pushing

them off a roof or into a furnace), you can do this easier by luring your opponent over

the hazard you must use to kill them before fighting with them. Just avoid them and run

over to the hazard. They will come over to you. Beat them up a bit but do not kill them

completely. Then, grab them and swing them so they have their back to the hazard.

Then, shove them to their death.

Shooting enemies behind cover:

------------------------------

When you are locked onto an enemy who is hiding behind a crate or low object, keep

locking on but move the crosshair to a part of their body that is sometimes sticking

out, like their head or arm. This will help you kill them easier.

Marlon Brando's last appearance:

--------------------------------

Play the mission when you go to the hospital to protect the Don. After you kill the

first assassin and Michael Corleone tells you to go to the basement, go foward and

make a left. You should see a door with Michael Corleone talking to Vito Corleone

while he is in the hospital bed. Listen to the conversation carefully. This is

the real Marlo Brando talking, recorded while he was hospitalized.

Losing police quickly:

----------------------

You must blow all safes to become Don Of New York. Blow all the safes when you are

taking over businesses that have one. By doing this you will not have to search for

safes after you completed most of the missions. Also, you will get an amount of money,

1,000 respect and dynamite by blowing them up.

Gun upgrade prices and recommendations:

---------------------------------------

The Street Sweeper is recommended because it has 100 bullets available and can kill

in one shot. Another good gun to buy is the Colt Python. In close range it can kill

in one shot, but it has poor shot power at long and medium range. The Assassin's

Pistol is also useful. When running, the pistol fires like any other pistol. However

when you stand still it fires like a Tommy Gun.

Street Sweeper: $450,000

Taking over rackets:

--------------------

When taking over rackets it may be harder not to buy them out, but you will usually get

more if you find their weak spot For example: With a person you can buy out for $800, if

you find his weak spot he will pay you almost $900.

"Horseplay" mission: Easy money:

--------------------------------

Use the following trick for an easy $20,000. After your partner has the "package" with him,

go in the house, Go upstairs at the first staircase. Kill the guard with the garrote wire,

then wait for the maid to leave the next room. You will hear a guard talk to her, then she

walks away. Kill that guard, but be careful -- make sure the maid does not see you. Follow

the maid through the door on the right. When she is facing away from the guard, be silent

and kill the guard. To the left (behind the maid), you will see the money bag containing

the $20,000. Always crouch and use the garrote wire so you are silent and do not get caught.

Pop culture references references:

Go to New Jersey and find the New Jersey National Bank. It is the only bank in the area.

Go into the manager's room on the top floor of the building. His name is "Jean Bongiovi",

clearly referencing to New Jersey's own "Jon Bon Jovi" the lead in the band Bon Jovi.

The Don Is Dead mission:

------------------------

Break the windows in the barber shop before start the mission. This will allow for easy

shooting once the Don is shot. The recommended gun for this and any other close range

shooting mission is the magnum.

Easy money:

-----------

Visit the sewer system. The entrance is directly south of the westernmost Tattaglia

warehouse on the Hell's Kitchen Loop. Prepare for a battle. The crate containing the

money you are after is guarded by a group of heavily armed bell-boys.

Barricades:

-----------

Use the following trick when you go to a hub, warehouse, or compound with people and

cars blocking your way. Get a truck and run into the cars and people until it catches

on fire. Then, finish off the other people that are still alive.

Tattaglias compound:

--------------------

When you think you are ready for the challenge, take on a compound. The Tattaglias in

northeast Brooklyn might be the weakest family in New York, but that does not mean

they are going to let you walk right in. Bring some bombs along and blow up the support

pillars in the basements. You may start a mob war, but if you are successful you will

have a new safe house with a group of guards.

Extorting businesses:

---------------------

When you are having trouble extorting business owners, try destroying some of their

property and/or hold a gun to their face. For example, when you are trying to take

over Good Eats in Brooklyn. you can hold the gun to the man's face then reholster

the gun and press V to extort. He will refuse. Simply draw your gun again, lock on,

and hold it. Keep doing this until he caves in. Do not forget to reholster your gun

to avoid accidentally shooting him. In another example, when you are trying to extort

money from the hotel owner in Brooklyn, hold a gun to him twice, break the downstairs

cupboard, then finally blow his safe before you beat him into submission. Always buy

available rackets first. Take a trip around to either buy another racket or go around

the block. Do not attack until you visit again, and instead of enemy soldiers you

will find all your soldiers. By doing this you do not have to fight a bunch of enemies

and get your vendetta up.

Robbing banks:

--------------

The type of bank will determine the easiest way it can be robbed. The type with the

three guards and one room is by far the easiest, and should be robbed as often as

possible. Use the following trick to rob it without being chased or even getting past

two shields. First, bribe the cop outside. Then, go into the bank and choke the first

guard by the door. Next, go into the vault area and start strangling the guard on the

left. The other guard will come and attack you, but he will not shoot. He will only

hit you with his billy club. Remember to strangle the man on the left first because

he tends to start shooting with his shotgun if you attack the other guard. If you are

robbing the big bank, start the same way by bribing the cop outside. Then, go in and

immediately strangle the guards in the main room. Hurry down to the vault and strangle

the two guards there. Open the door and blow the vault. Ready your Tommy gun for

action. Three or four guards will attack you as you flee the vault. Get close to

them as you are shooting them and you will perform an instant execution. After you

shoot them, run up the stairs and move to the right. Then, take an immediate right

to leave the building where the car is always parked. Get in the car quickly because

you will be shot at when outside. Take off and you should not be chased after you hit

the streets. After any bank robbery you must go to your hangout to get the money. The

best bank to rob is the midtown bank, close to the apartment that the Corleone's give

you after you save Michael. You wll get $50,000 there.

World 9:

The following is a tutorial for the first five days of World 9. The first things

that you should concentrate on is upgrading/building your Timber Camp, Clay Pit

and Iron mine. Once they are all at about level 5, start concentrating on your military.

Upgrade your village HQ to around level 3 to construct the barracks and train about 10

Spear Fighters and attack the nearest abandoned village for more resources. Once you

attackers return with the resources, begin upgrading your HQ to level 5 so you can build

a Smithy. After saving your resources for awhile, build a statue. This will take a long

time. Also get a wall to about level 5, upgrade various buildings, and train a paladin

at the statue. Continue expanding your military and attacking the abandoned villages

for resources and upgrade your buildings until you can build a Stables and Scouts.

Try to ally yourselves with a tribe at this point because you are nearing the end of

your protection.

Stategy tips:

-------------

Now my strategy is to get your supplies ready first, so upgrade Timber, Clay, and

Iron 0-30(limit) and upgrade Warehouse occasionally also this will increase how

much each of the things (wood, iron, and clay) you can have, and all that will make

you good, so when you keep upgrading then you do get to limits your good, then go

to building barracks + fighters, wall, smithy, village headquarters, etc. doesn't

really matter after upgrading, but have barracks+fighters just in case, and also

village headquarters are good to upgrade because they make upgrades and constructions

faster.

Raise a noble:

--------------

By definition a Nobleman will reduce the loyalty of your enemies' villages.

If its loyalty falls under 0 you will conquer that village.

The Nobleman stats look like this:

Offensive strength -30

General Defence -100

Cavalry Defence -50

Defence Archer -100

The requirements to raise a Nobleman are:

Village Headquarters (Level20)

Smithy (Level20)

Market (Level10)

and you also need 100 villagers.

Here are some details about raising a Nobleman. In every village you cancreate 1 academy,

each level of the academy is treated like a new academy building. If you have a level 1

academy, you can recruit 1 nobleman, a level 2 academy 2 noblemen and so on.

Each nobleman will cost the amount of noblemen you have +1. If you have 2 noblemen then

your third will cost 3 times the amount it would cost to make 1.

If your nobleman dies in battle then the cost for the next nobleman will be the same.

If you send your first nobleman into battle and he dies, this means your next nobleman

is still going to cost the price of 1 nobleman instead of 2.

You can upgrade your academy in each of your villages to a maximum of level 3.

So if you have 2 villages and an level 3 academy in each, and you have so far built

1 nobleman, then you have permission to build another 5.

ALIEN SHOOTER -VENGEANCE -Character Editing.

I have the U.S version and it is not upgraded.

(0) you must have made it to at least 1 save point in the game.

(1) Go to your install folder ( where you installed the game) look

in the "RUN" folder, then look in the "SAVES" folder. You will see

"PROFILE0" and maybe more. Go into the relevant folder. Depending

on where you are at in the game you will see lots of ".cfg" files,

the only ones you care about are the files that are 2 digit numbers

like "01.cfg" - "15.cfg" the rest you can ignore.

(2) Right click on the highest number .cfg file as that is your

current save point in the game. copy and paste a copy of the .cfg

file to your desk top, but do not change this one as it is a backup,

just in case.

(3) Go back to the game folder , right click again on the .cfg file.

Open the 2 digit . cfg file in the game folder with the "notepad"

program on your pc .If you are further on in the game then you will

have to go to the highest number to have it change your current save

point. It should look like this sample below without my lists on the

right of the sample.

Minas Tirith Courtyard: Easy completion:

Stand off in a corner and keep blocking. No one will hurt you, or be able to.

The Trolls are too far away; just leave them alone. Eventually, the 200 civilians

will get through. It will just take longer.

Minas Tirith: Top of the wall:

------------------------------

After you destroy the fourth tower, go down one set of stairs, then go back up.

Go to the top of the tower. Pick up the objects on top of the tower. They will

give you more experience.

Cirith Ungol: Defeating the Boss:

---------------------------------

Stun him with a spear after you have destroyed his shield. The health bar will

appear again. Then, attack him as long as possible. If the health bar disappears

again, run away until he is going to take a new shield. Destroy the shield, stun,

attack, run and repeat until he is dead.

Black Gate:

-----------

There are two checkpoints in this level, but it is still difficult. First, you

will have to defeat a big, black caped enemy. He is very easy to defeat if you

use fierce attacks. Then, you must defeat six fat Orcs with green health bars

above their heads. As they approach, you will have to fight many Orcs and protect

your friends. Their health bar will be at the top of the screen. When it gets low,

go to them and help them kill the Orcs. When you stand next to your friend, he will

glow and get health. Make sure you stay next to him to get his health up. After

three big Orcs are destroyed, the Orcs will attack ou from three different

directions. Keep helping your friends and killing Orcs. Once you have killed all

six fat Orcs, you will reach a checkpoint. Three Nazgul will appear. Kill them by

shooting your ranged weapon (arrows or axes). Once all three of them are killed,

the level will end.

Shelob's Lair: Easy experience:

When you get to the part where Sam says "I can't get by this", fight all the Orcs.

Once you have finished, go to the top of the ridge where you push off the rocks. Push

the rock and the Orcs will be there, giving you more experience.

Shelob's Lair: Easy Perfect mode:

To get perfect mode easily, use speed attacks repeatedly on the little spiders.

This will raise your Perfect meter quickly while in a pack of the spiders.

Complete the game and play as a character who you are not meant to play

that mission (for example, playing as Legolas on Cirith Ungol). In the

intermission sequences, your character will remain where you left him

and not do what the default character would have done. This is most

notable in The Tower of Cirith Ungol level, where in the final intermission

sequence you will see a sword flying around by Frodo's head on its own and

Sam's voice coming out of nowhere; and The Southern Gate level where in the

final intermission sequence you can see Aragorn and Legolas running into

Paths Of The Dead:

This level may be played as either Aragorn, Legolas, or Gimli. During the

level you will meet multiple dead enemies. You can easily kill them with

fierce attacks, especially the ones without shields. When you reach the blue

fog, your character will move slowly. Be aware of enemies in the blue fog.

The last battle is on a long bridge on which you will have to kill 35

opponents.

After completing the last battle the level will end and you will unlock

Ambushing opponents:

When you see an enemy, shoot a few bullets at them. They come towards you,

trying to kill you. Stay where you are, and quickly equip yourself with a

sword. Just before they reach you, quickly jump out and start hacking them

with your sword (right clicking recommended). They will be too stunned to

effectively hit you, and you can get an easy kill.

Extend Lunge (Dagger):

----------------------

This is a pro dagger move. To do it you need to dash and before you see

the lines lunge:W, W, Right Click.

Swap Shot:

----------

Swap Shot only works with non-rapid guns (for example, pistols or shotgun).

To use Swap Shot equip any of the following combinations: Pistol + Pistol,

Pistol + Shotgun, or Shotgun + Shotgun. Your mouse also must have a scrollwheel

in the middle. If you do not, you can use 2 and 3 but it is harder. When in

battle, use you first pistol. Hold the Left Mouse Button. After the first shot,

scroll down to your next gun. After that shot, scroll back up to the first gun.

Do this repeatedly until your guns run out of ammo. Note: This move is part of

K-Style, a technique used amongst the pros.

Easy kills:

-----------

When playing in solo deathmatch, find two people fighting. Wait for a

few seconds for them to weaken each other, then kill one (or at least

do some damage to him), and then the other. if they are close together,

throw a grenade. This should kill them both, as they should be weakened.

When you have a chance, using the sword right click to slash your opponent

into the air. When they fall to the ground, they will stay there for a few

seconds. Quickly equip any gun and shoot your opponent while he or she is

on the floor. When they are on the floor, it only takes about three shots

to kill them, even using the Raven 50 pistol.

Avoid knockdown from swords:

----------------------------

If you time a jump at the height of the sword's upward knockdown attack, you

can perform a back flip and land on your feet, much to the surprise of the

attacker. However the dagger is harder to recover from. You must be hit off

an edge to perform the flip.

Doing "moon walk":

------------------

Note: this can only be used when holding a sword.

third step: wait for 2 second.

then move around. your character should be doing moon walk now.

You all know what it is, get a dagger and do one of these:

knock on floor move thingy (right-click) then shoot the body til they die.

or

melee noob: when someone trys to shoot you stand next to them and left-click

really quickly so they cant attack... well...

OR be a skillful dagger user, everyone knows how to wall cancel so use that with

daggers to kill then you can claim not to be a noob :D

Cavalry Charge: Destroying ZSUs:

Instead of shooting the ZSUs with an anti-tank launcher,

shoot them with a sniper gun. They should blow-up.

You can now "paint" the tanks so an air strike will blow

them up.

Cavalry Charge: Ghostly rolling pot:

Fight your way through the Iraqis. When you are almost

to the end, you will find a camp to the left of the road.

Go in it and look for a pot over a fire. Bring up Bradley

and shoot the pot with his pistol (near the stands). This

may require a few attempts. It should roll away into the

distance. If it stops, shoot it again.

Lights Out: Killing General Aziz:

When you are trying to kill general Aziz at the end, take

out the "laser" and lock on so it turns red. He will run out.

Take him out with a sniper, then evacuate.

Lights Out: Easy completion:

When at the tunnel, go to the end and with Foley. Shoot a

rocket at the wall and a walkway should appear. Walk through

and you will complete the level.

Safe passage: Finding troop:

----------------------------

When you get to the car that has been blown up, walk to

the wall behind it. A troop will be there.

Destroying helicopters:

-----------------------

When a Hind appears, it will hover above you and start

shooting. Do not bother with the rockets; just use a sniper

rifle and shoot its belly twice.

Getting past tanks:

-------------------

If you are out of grenades, anti-tank weapons, anti-air

weapons, C4 or anything else that can destroy a tank, use

the following trick to get past them. First, kill all the

enemy soldiers around. Make sure the gunner of the tank is

taken out. You can kill him with a sniper shot. Take only

one person and have him run at the tank, With smoke bombs

equipped, throw a smoke bomb before the tanks shoot at you.

If all went well, you should be standing directly next to

the tank, only it cannot blow you up. Next, move yourself

around the tank, to make the barrel point in another area

away from where your group must pass. Have the rest of your

team run to cover, past the tank. Then have the Man who is

standing next to the tank look at where his team is now

located. Make sure they are in cover then throw a smoke

bomb and run. If all goes well, you should get past the

tank without dying. This technique works well in the level

where you must escort Dr. Franklin to the sewers.

Easy stats:

-----------

If you want Foley to calm himself faster in between shots

with his sniper rifle, enable the "Cheat mode" code. Select

a short and easy mission (such as Safe Passage, Special

Delivery, etc.). It does not matter which team you choose

(U.S. Delta Force or British SAS). Do these missions

repeatedly about three times. Foley should get a level

increase, be promoted a rank, get a Sniper skill star,

and if your accuracy is high enough, a service medal.

This trick only works if Foley gets over 65% accuracy

on the missions.

Soldier on reserve:

-------------------

When you are nervous about something coming up, for

example, a tank and you do not have C4 or any missiles,

instead of putting all your men on the line, put one on

reserve (leave someone behind). This way, if all the

other soldiers go down a health bar, there is another

to heal them. In worst-case scenario, if all the others

die beyond medical help, you still have one person

remaining, which is better than dying altogether.

Tank mines:

-----------

On certain levels, tank mines can be truly annoying.

Instead of getting your worst man to go out and run

on the mines, throw a grenade on them and they should

all explode.

by blowing him up with a grenade and finishing the level. Note: He will lose

Spreading out munitions:

Do not give too much of the powerful items such as tank mines, C4, anti-tank guns,

etc. to a single person. If you have this person advance and he gets taken down by

a tank, your other teammates might not have the firepower needed to even get close

to the downed person, let alone heal him. It is always a good idea to have each

teammate equipped with at the least one high powered explosive in case you need to

take something out.

Weak spots on tanks:

--------------------

All tanks have very heavy front and side armor. However, the tank's rear is lightly

armored. Smaller tanks can be hit with a rocket almost anywhere and will usually

explode. However, larger tanks must be attacked with an explosive from behind.

If you shoot it from the front or side, chances are you will not even make a dent.

Last resort attack on tanks:

----------------------------

If you need to take out a tank but have no more long range rockets, it is possible

to get close to it without getting hit. First, you will need to have a sniper rifle

to zoom in on the top of the tank to take out the gunner, if there is one. After

he is down, throw a smoke bomb in the direction of the tank. Try to get the smoke

bomb in as close to it as possible. While the smoke is in the air, you can run up

to the tank without being hit. The smoke will make it impossible for the tank to

see you. Get directly next to the tank and plant a C4 next to it. After it is

planted, throw another smoke bomb slightly further away from the tank. Make a mad

dash for the smoke. If you are fast enough, you will get behind the wall of smoke

and can then make your way to safety. Then, detonate the C4. If you have C4 with

a detonator, run to the tank, crouch, plant the C4, then quickly run away.

When you get about 10 feet away, use the detonator to explode the C4.

Last resort attack on SCUDs:

----------------------------

SCUDs can be blown up with the sniper rifle if they are in the launch position.

Shoot the rocket a few times with it.

Charge the enemy:

-----------------

The game sends an infinite amount of troops after the alarm has been set.

The best way to defend yourself is to charge ahead as fast, but also as safely,

as possible. In some levels you can cut down the number of men by almost fifty.

If you are low on ammunition, health, etc., this is a good way to cut down on

the amount of men you have to deal with. It also works sometimes if you send a

man far ahead and hold him there, then do your objectives for your mission.

Tank mines:

-----------

On certain levels, tank mines can be truly annoying. Instead of getting your worst

man to go out and run on the mines, throw a grenade on them and they should all

explode.

AT mines:

---------

Use the following trick if you are tired of always stepping or driving over AT

mines (Cavalry Charge is good for this). First, clear out the area of Iraqi

infantry and armor. Set Foley and Conners up on a hilltop, either lying down or

crouching, and have Jones and Bradley move in the area where the mines are placed.

Have Bradley out of harms way, away from any explosives to cover Jones. If possible,

have Jones move as far as possible into the minefield. Have him set a brick of C4,

then run back out the way you came. Detonate the C4 and you will have an alley

that your men and M2 tank can move through. If you are out of C4, frag grenades

do the same thing, but do not have as much coverage as the C4.

Destroying heavy armor tanks:

-----------------------------

Find the man with C4s and give his detonator to someone else. Keep everyone back

except for the man who has the C4. Quickly run to the tank and plant the C4. When

you are finished, get another troop to call him back. When he runs back, the tank

should be focused on him. Change to the man with the detonator and use it. If this

works, everyone should make it out alive. However, if he does not make it, you can

clear the area then heal him. Also, you can trick the tanks by using any of your

men except the demolitions man and create a diversion on the side of the tank

opposite to your team. Get the man next to the tank so that he will not be harmed,

then switch to the demolitions man. While the tank is looking at the other man,

sneak up to it, plant a C4 explosive, and run away.

Destroying helicopters:

-----------------------

When a Hind appears, it will hover above you and start shooting. Do not bother

with the rockets; just use a sniper rifle and shoot its belly twice.

Destroying SCUDs:

-----------------

On levels such as SCUD Alley, if you have run out of rockets, C4 and grenades,

due to unexpected tanks, etc., SCUDs can be destroyed with the Bradley's grenade

launcher or by machine gunning them.

Destroying tanks:

-----------------

When you see a tank (for example, the one directly in front of you at the start

of Scud Alley), take two people, Foley and Jones. Have Foley shoot out the gunner.

The turret should then rotate a full 360 degrees as if it were checking where the

shot came from. At this point, switch to Jones and run straight at the tank. It is

essential that you reach the tank as soon as possible. As soon as you reach it,

lay down. Foley should snipe off the advancing soldiers. As you are behind the

tank, they do not hit you and instead cause damage to the tank. Plant a C4 and

detonate it. Just let Jones blow up with it. Jones will be dead on the floor behind

a tank (in cover, which is useful). At this point, switch to Bradley and have

everyone follow him. Rush forward using the tank for cover, shooting as you run

then heal Jones. This trick can be used for just about any tank, even moving ones.

Just run up behind them, fire a shot at the back of them and they will stop,

allowing you to plant the explosive. To kill tanks easily, equip a mine and plant

it directly in front of it. Note: You will die doing this; make sure you have another

soldier ready to heal you.

Deer Avenger 2

Bonus points:

There are lots of places to score big. While in town, shoot

the red truck. At the bar, aim for the dartboard. In the office,

unload on the paintings.

Fully-Automatic Rifle:

Choose the REM 16. Right click after clicking on your

location and then click the hunt sign. Hold it until

you start hunting. The gun becomes fully automatic and

you don't have to take time to reload.

Hit the bottles in the club to get more points.

When you start, you will have full fart. Save this for later. If

facing a Boss or someone that is to hard to shoot and kill, duck

Completing Gauntlets:

To easily complete the Gauntlets, fly an Ursa Bomber with Prometius

and Flail as primary weapons, and Hornets, Synaptic Cluster Missiles,

and Harbinger Bombs. With this configuration, you can kill anything.

The most trouble you will get is when you are attacked by Interceptors.

Focus on one ship while your turret fends off the rest. Use Synaptics

to destroy clusters of ships, or to protect yourself if you are overrun.

When you engage the cruiser and destroyer class ships, fire a Synaptic

to distract the fighters for a bit and use double fire Harbingers to

severly damage the capital ship. The Ursa may be slow and unmaneuverable,

but is counterbalanced by its superior fire power and the helpful turret.

How the CPU cheats:

-------------------

The CPU cheats in the following ways:

-It starts with more money.

-It can rebuild their buildings even when they have no

buildings nearby.

-It can rebuild their Construction Yard without an MCV.

You can easily get around the last two, however, by taking out all

their Construction Yards. With no Construction Yards, they cannot

rebuild without an MCV. Destroy all their Airstrips and/or War

Factories to keep them from getting more MCVs.

Controlling air units:

----------------------

Note: This trick works for both the GDI and NOD. To control air

units in midair, simply give the helicopter a team number. This

allows you to give multi strikes without reloading.

Protect units:

--------------

If you want to protect a certain units (for example, an ore truck)

select a vehicle then hold [Ctrl] + [Alt] then click on the unit

you wish to protect. It will follow it around for protection.

More Tiberium:

--------------

Build a "wall" around Tiberium when playing against the CPU. Make

sure to also close up the entrances to your base. Then, press R to

display the surrender option. Do not press anything else and wait

for some length of time. Then, choose the "Cancel" option.

The Tiberium amount should have increased on the map.

Note: make sure the Tiberium is "regenerateable".

Destroying the Temple of NOD:

-----------------------------

Surprisingly, the CPU NOD usually keeps its Temple in a small second

base, apart from its main base. This base is also usually very poorly

defended. There will usually be only one Obelisk guarding it, however

they also usually fill it with SAM sites making an air attack futile.

Also, the CPU will not use the Nuclear Missile until the Temple is

attacked, and for good reason -- there is only one nuke attack allowed

per game per player. First, build a second base large enough that you

can still fight if your first one, or it, is destroyed. Then, get a

large army and mass it outside the base close, but far enough away to

be out of range of the enemy's Obelisk. Get an Ion Cannon shot ready

and use it to attack the Temple. It will fire its nuke at one of your

bases, destroying it. However, now they have used up their only nuke

and you do not have to worry about it anymore. Order your army to

swarm the base, first taking out Obelisk, then any Turrets, then

everything else except for one building. Take over the building,

barricade the base with walls, then build walls or buildings over

where they had buildings so they cannot rebuild them.

Wall tricks:

------------

This trick requires a Construction Yard, a high enough tech level

to at least build Sandbags, and decent amount of money (depending

on where your base is located). Build Sandbags/Fences/Concrete Walls

to close up entrances to your base. Make sure the walls are not too

close to your base, because the enemy will just shoot over it.

The enemy AI is too dumb to know that they can "tear" down walls

and they will just stop when they get to the wall.

This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before

proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "global.gs" file in the saved game directory

for the game. The Chakra skills are defined as one of the following variable names,

followed by a number from "0" to "4". Increase any number up to "4" to get the

corresponding Chakra skill. For example, "skill_level_yellow0" to "skill_level_yellow4"

i've seen the tip in cheatcc.com and found myself disappointed because there is not

enough cheats or hints. Well most of the files in the savegame directory are editable

however, it is too complicated to understand like the global.gs.

However, you can try the item duplicating technique that I discovered to do this do the

following:

Search a place where you can put the things that you want to duplicate. Example is at

cabinet at the inn of villacredo or wherever you want to place it. then save your game.

Then take it back to your inventory and save your game into another slot.

Now go to the savegame directory and find your save number

[hint: every save number has its own description.txt file you can open it to know your

savegame name].

When you found the savegame directory that have the items where you put it, copy all

files and directories in it and paste it to the savegame where you take back all items

to your inventory. finally load the last savegame. This technique is exactly similar to

the Fallout 2 duplication technique.

Still har to understand? well this is the easy but another way:

1: drop the items on the ground

2: save your game to slot 1

3: pick all dropped items

4: save your game to slot 2

5: goto to savegame directory and copy all the files and directories in save1

6: paste it inside save2 directory and overwrite it

7: load save2 and have fun!

Baldur's Gate 2 - Shadows of Amn

called [Program Options]. Under this heading type:

Debug Mode=1, then save and exit. Start your game of

BG2 as normal and in game press Control+Space to

activate the console.

When generating a character and if you have debug mode=1

or cheats=1 and you press CTRL+SHFT+8 it will max your

stats. If you decrease some stats before doing this you

can take some up to 19 for races that allow 19 (like elf

dexterity).

Here is an example using the identify scroll code.

Click the TCP/IP option, even if offline, to create and

play six of your own characters. (Note: you'll miss out

on a lot of quests, but it's a great way to replay the game.)

Be picky when choosing quests. Be true to your alignment

and don't bite off more than you can chew, or your

reputation will suffer.

The game is 100 percent playable and quite different if

you opt to play as an evil character. For example,

instead of freeing the slaves, you are charged with

putting down their uprising.

Stock up on Restoration spells when facing undead.

Being "level drained" is a horrible way to go. Failing

that, if you have Raise Dead spells let a level-drained

character die (unless it's your character); once raised

he'll be back to a normal level.
