On the game menu, you can change dificulties. Go to "Custom" and click

that button. Then, set your troops to "Very Strong", "Always Obey Orders",

enemy always seen, units are fearless, and enemy intelligence always

available (causes you to see what enemy is thinking, what weapons they

have, and how much ammo is remaining). Put the enemy at :Very Weak",

thus making your troops almost invincible super troopers.

Troop ratings:

Germans have best weapons and guns. The MG 42 is best all-around German

unit. The Allies have good mortar capability.

Grease Gun:

Play as the Germans on Grand Campaign at Son Bridge. Destroy any M5 but

do not kill the men intentionally. They will run away. After selecting

"Cease Fire", during the next battle in the area the tank men will have

powerful grease guns and no tank.

Troop placemen:

Before setting up troops, right click to display the pop up menu

screen. After this, click "Move", "Move Fast", etc. and click where

you want to go.

Invisible enemy:

During the setup of troops, on either side of the black area you can

click around with "Fire" (use the "Troop placement" trick) to get a

head start on the enemy. Use this with mortars, tanks, or personnel.

The enemy is there, but not seen.

Change the value of "#define REPUTATION_MIN" line to "89".

After doing so, do any job (bad or good). Your reputation will be as a hero.

Another way of doing this is to edit the "character_init.c" file in the same directory.

You will find lines such as "ch.reputation.france = REPUTATION_NEUTRAL;". Change the

"REPUTATION_NEUTRAL;" value to "REPUTATION_HERO;". After any task (good or bad ) you

will be a hero for any nation. In the same file you can find all lines of money and

experience, for example,

"ch.experience = 1000;" and skills such as "ch.skill.Leadership = "1";".

Change all skills to "10", and experience and money as desired.

Note: You must change every line of money and experience in that file.

Hack - Character File:

This hack edits a critical game file. Back up your original or you get screwed.

You will also need to have the folder options on Windows XP and Vista changed to

allow you to edit the file extension.

Locate the file Characters_init.* in the directory

\...\\Program Files\Playlogic\Age of Pirates - Caribbean Tales\PROGRAM\Characters\

and open it using the text editor Notepad.exe or similar program. Note that if you do

not allow your Windows O/S to change the extension, you may not be able to hack this

file appropriately.

Don’t Become An Ex-Guardian:

Don’t bother becoming an ex guardian because it says that it gives you better weapons

and 10000 gold and more experience. But it gives you the gold but it doesn’t give you

the extra experience points because say that you was fighting a monster. If you checked

the opponents stats and look at how much EXP you was meant to get if you won and it

said you was meant to get 450 EXP then you won you would get 400EXP and for extra you

would get 50EXP so you would get the same amount in total but it would look like you

was getting extra but you aren’t. (apply to all amount of EXP)

Use a text editor to edit the "rules.xml" file in the "data"

directory in the game directory. Search for the "[POP_CAP" line.

From here, you can edit the desired population limit entries in

quotation marks. Also, search for and edit the "[MAX_POP_LIMIT"

cap field. Then, search for the "poplimits" entry. Edit each

Do not put important buildings near a large body of water. Enemy ships can easily

destroy the buildings, and you might not be able to properly counter it.

to them (armies, cities, silos, etc.) near their territory line. Nuke as close as

Start a new game on desert. Select MegaRail 1960 then set your company up. Put your

loan money up to the maximum then go to the company list. Buy 75% of the company.

When the money of the company is in the negatives, the company will be sold off and

declared bankrupt. Keep the company called "Parker and Co." on the screen. When the

company is declared bankrupt, sell 75% of the company. You will then be a millionaire.

Your company value will increase to about $65,666,000 and your money will be at about

$60,000,000. Remember to pay back your loans.

Flashing lights:

----------------

Build two connected railroad tracks over a road. Build a depot on the side of the

track that is not on the road. Buy a train and let it go. Get the train on the track

over the road and reverse it a few times to keep the lights on. Then, let the train

go to the end of the track. It will turn around automatically. Send it to the depot,

sell it, and destroy the depot. If done correctly, the lights will be flashing with

no train.

Eliminate CPU buses:

Build a snaking railroad line over the bus route. The train will destroy the CPU buses,

but will also eliminate your own trucks and buses.

Fast population:

When creating a city, put down a large city, start expanding it, take out all the small

houses, and keep expanding. When it takes a lot of clicks before it increases population

(usually around 30,000), put a small city as close as possible, even if it touches.

Then, delete the small city and the large city's population will stay the same even

though a portion of the city itself was erased. This may be repeated until about 70,000,

at which point it will revert back to 0.

World 9:

The following is a tutorial for the first five days of World 9. The first things

that you should concentrate on is upgrading/building your Timber Camp, Clay Pit

and Iron mine. Once they are all at about level 5, start concentrating on your military.

Upgrade your village HQ to around level 3 to construct the barracks and train about 10

Spear Fighters and attack the nearest abandoned village for more resources. Once you

attackers return with the resources, begin upgrading your HQ to level 5 so you can build

a Smithy. After saving your resources for awhile, build a statue. This will take a long

time. Also get a wall to about level 5, upgrade various buildings, and train a paladin

at the statue. Continue expanding your military and attacking the abandoned villages

for resources and upgrade your buildings until you can build a Stables and Scouts.

Try to ally yourselves with a tribe at this point because you are nearing the end of

your protection.

Now my strategy is to get your supplies ready first, so upgrade Timber, Clay, and

Iron 0-30(limit) and upgrade Warehouse occasionally also this will increase how

to building barracks + fighters, wall, smithy, village headquarters, etc. doesn't

really matter after upgrading, but have barracks+fighters just in case, and also

village headquarters are good to upgrade because they make upgrades and constructions

Raise a noble:

By definition a Nobleman will reduce the loyalty of your enemies' villages.

If its loyalty falls under 0 you will conquer that village.

The Nobleman stats look like this:

The requirements to raise a Nobleman are:

Village Headquarters (Level20)

Smithy (Level20)

and you also need 100 villagers.

Here are some details about raising a Nobleman. In every village you cancreate 1 academy,

each level of the academy is treated like a new academy building. If you have a level 1

academy, you can recruit 1 nobleman, a level 2 academy 2 noblemen and so on.

Each nobleman will cost the amount of noblemen you have +1. If you have 2 noblemen then

your third will cost 3 times the amount it would cost to make 1.

If your nobleman dies in battle then the cost for the next nobleman will be the same.

If you send your first nobleman into battle and he dies, this means your next nobleman

is still going to cost the price of 1 nobleman instead of 2.

You can upgrade your academy in each of your villages to a maximum of level 3.

So if you have 2 villages and an level 3 academy in each, and you have so far built

1 nobleman, then you have permission to build another 5.

How to defeat Twang easily.

In case you don't know, Twang is supposedly the most powerful energy blade

fighter around. You can only fight him once your energy blade rank is 35but

sometimes you'll get to battle him in class, but he goes easy, and you can

predict his attacks. Use strong attack on Twang until he glows red (usually

about 2 strong attacks make him glow). When he glows that means his next

attack is his best attack where he shoots every energy blade you can unlock

at you, usually dealing about 20-30 damage, so when he glows red then use a

defense attack and he will only do about 2-4 damage. Now then, repeat the

steps and voila! You can defeat Twang anyday! (at least almost,I think you

have a 80-90% chance of defeating him with this technique)

10second, so around 1min per 300credit, if you do this over and over again for an hour, you get

atleast 5,000 ( Subtracted the boredom or whatever.. ) then once you got enough money, go buy a

new mech to become stronger, so you can kill the rusty rat in 3-5hit, I'm not so sure about the

giant spider, but try to kill him if you think your strong enough. Oh yea, here's my combo to

kill the guy in 6 hits (( I use the starter mech and this 3 weapon: Solar mega blast, sling

missile and energy sai ) I first use Energy Sai, then sling missile, energy sai again, then solar

mega blaster, then energy sai ( this way you can use sling missile again ) finish him off with

Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup

copy of the file before proceeding. This cheat is for money in career

mode. When you create a profile, the game creates a file in the

"\cruise shiptycoon\data\profiles" folder. The user profile information

is saved as a .ini file. Use a text editor to edit this file,

and find a line similar to:

Cash=100000.000000

Change the numbers except for the digits after the decimal to whatever

amount of money desired. For example, for $1,000,000, change the line

to:

Cash=1000000.000000

Restart the game to have it take effect.

Experiment with the game. There are an almost unlimited amount of

set-ups. Once you get your car built, test it thoroughly to get

familiar with it. This allows you to cut good lights and run close

on your dial-in. Depending on your preference, you may want to try

deep staging, which is going farther down to where the pre-stage

light goes off. This will make your reaction time better, but will

give your car less roll out time (less time to start accelerating

before the elapsed time clock begins).
