Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup

copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit one of

the vehicle configuration file named "*.cfg" in the

"\Infogrames Interactive\Deadly Dozen\GameData\Vehicles" folder.

Look for "body_armor", and set it to 9900.0 (this may create some

smoke effects, but it is not a problem). Look for "troop_protection"

valueand set it to "300.00" (default is 90.0). Begin the game, use

that vehicle, and drive around, Let enemy soldiers shoot at you.

That driver's health will increase when getting hit, over 100. If it

gets to over 500 or more, some enemies will not be able to detect

you, even if you get close. You can also drive around and crash into

enemies.

Unlimited Medipack:

-------------------

When you encounter German fortifications with Medipacks scattered on

the ground or on tables, get that Medipack, use it (it will be the last

pack in your inventory), and look towards the exact position of the

Medipack you just used. You will not see another Medipack, but if you

use your "Pick Up" command (Right Mouse Button is default), you will

pick up another Medipack. You can do this indefinitely, as long as

you used the previous pack. It is possible to heal your entire squad

using one Medipack. Also, you can drop Medipacks, pick them up, and

use this same strategy.

game then exit. When you return, load the game you

just saved and you should still be alive at a point

Easy achievement points in Co-op mode:

When starting a Co-op campaign, instead of logging into your main

Gamertag as player one, log in as player two. Doing this from the

beginning or while replaying chapters will let you play as Dominic

Santiago. There are several achievements that you will unlock

playing as him. Additionally, if you start as Dominic from the

beginning, you will not gain any less points then you would as

Marcus and it will save you a lot of time.

Easy group kills:

Once you get the Torque Bow, wait until you see groups of Locusts,

then shoot one in the head. After you wait a few seconds, it should

blow up and kill all or most of them.

Two player path block :

-----------------------

Use the following trick while playing in two player mode and you

reach a difficult part with a doorway. Have one player die in the

doorway. This will create a block that the Locust cannot get past.

They will usually line up behind your dead partner, allowing you a

safe zone to easily pick them off. Once it is clear, just revive

your partner and move on.

Chainsaw cuts through objects:

The chainsaw on your Lancer has the ability to cut through many

things if you get close to it and start it up. This includes

doors, walls, and boxes.

Shock Therapy (30 gamerscore points):

Beat a Brumak on the Hardcore difficulty mode.

Closing Emergence Holes:

------------------------

When an Emergence Hole opens up, toss a grenade into it. This will

automatically close the hole, and therefore keep the locusts from

coming out. The Hammer Of Dawn can easily destroy Emergence Holes.

You must activate it by targeting an enemy first, and then aim it

toward the Emergence Hole.

Fire a Torque Bow arrow into an Emergence Hole. This is somewhat

challenging to do, due to the straight line of fire given by the

bow. However, if you are close enough to fire while the line of

fire is arced, it is possible to make it into the hole.

A Torque Arrow stuck in the top of the hole will close it as well.

Destroying vehicles, pillboxes or artillery:

--------------------------------------------

When you are attempting to destroy vehicles, pillboxes or

artillery, an excellent way to do so is to have a pig with

a flamethrower (Pyrotechnics have them, level 3 heavy weapons

soldiers, or they can be used in multiplayer mode). Walk it up

close to the intended target. Face the target, and let rip with

the flamethrower, so all the flames hit the vehicle, pillbox

or artillery. It should suffer about 102 to 108 points of damage.

Attack with jetpack:

--------------------

If you have jetpacks that you do not need, walk up to an

enemy and turn around so you are facing directly away from

your target. Equip a jetpack, and aim directly upwards.

Fire the jetpack, and then release it after about two seconds.

The enemy will suffer a maximum of 20 points of damage from the

blast caused by the jetpack hitting the earth, plus any additional

damage caused according to where the pig lands. Your pig should

land safely by parachute, but try and make him land on an enemy.

If you can do so, you will inflict 1 point of damage.

You can repeat this as many times as needed one turn, providing

you have enough jetpacks and do not suffer damage yourself

using a jetpack does not end a turn.

Medic career:

-------------

A pig in this career can heal other pigs. This is a good career to keep

all of your pigs alive to get the "Survival Bonus" promotion point and

to keep your good pigs alive. However, these types of pigs have low

health, only basic attack weapons like a knife and rifle, and are not

good for combat. The three ranks of the "Medic" career are:

Orderly

Health: 60

Skills: Knife, Rifle, Grenade (three uses), and Healing Hands (three uses)

Manic

Health: 80

Skills: Knife, Rifle, Medicine Dart (three uses), Grenade (three uses),

Medicine Ball (three uses), and Healing Hands (three uses).

Surgeon

Health: 120

Skills: Knife, Rifle, Rifle Burst (three uses), Medicine Dart (three uses),

A pig in this career has close-range weapons like the Shotgun and explosives,

good for close-range combat; also, you can see mines, good health. This is a

good career if your not that good at aiming long-range weapons. Also this is

the only career that you can see mines, making it good to negotiate minefields

to get weapons and extra promotion points. However this is not a good career

for long-range combat and you almost cannot do anything on "long-range

shootout" levels with your starting weapons. The three ranks of the "Engineer"

career are:

Sapper

Skills: Trotter, Shotgun, Mine (three uses), and TNT (one use).

Engineer

Health: 100

Easy completion of last level:

Make sure to kill the purple gunner in the pillbox. When the legends come down,

poison them. Every pig sould have one poison gas, which is just enough to poison

each legend. Choose one pig (you should have commandos and heroes by now) and

make him hide for the rest of the battle. With the other pigs, you can make

them hide, or to speed it up, keep attacking the enemy until you die. As this

is the last level, it does not matter if only the pig who keeps hiding survives.

Mission 23: Medals:

-------------------

In Mission 23 you must kill four heroes and you receive four medals. It is thought

that although you can collect only three medals (in fact it is unlikely that you

manage to stand in the position where the last medal drops without being slapped

out by enemy fire), there are four shown in the mission results as a result of a

glitch. Actually, it is not a glitch. It would be very difficult to collect all

extra medals if the game would not automatically register the last medal as

collected, because you would have to stand in the point where the last medal

drops (and this is difficult to guess because its landing position depends on

which enemy pig is killed last).

Easy kill:

----------

This trick only works if you have Freeze Gas and Hide. First throw Freeze Gas on

your opponent(s); then Hide for as many rounds as necessary for the opponent(s)

to sneeze themselves to death. Even the strongest opponent (legend) can be

defeated in this way. However, this may take up to (150-15)/10 i.e. 14 rounds;

weaker opponents are finished off sooner. The advantage of this method is that

even if you are outnumbered and/or very weak you can still kill really strong

opponents while guaranteed that you get away unharmed.

Santa Fe Mysteries - The Elk Moon Murder

KEY CLUES

---------

You have to ask the question: "who had the means, motive, and opportunity?"

in solving this mystery. Almost all suspects have a strong motive for

commiting the crime. Therefore, the focus should be on who had the means

and the opportunity. From Forensics tests , you discover that Anna Elk Moon

most likely knew her killer. Of all the suspects, how many did Elk Moon

know personally?

What was the victim doing the day of the murder that seemed unusual? She

was calling people urgently about something. She reached two people: Joe

Edeta and Vaughan Dresner. In both their interviews they talk about Anna's

having discovered something about the design on the pot. Moreover, from Joe

Edeta's interview, you discover that Sonny Two Feathers, Joe's nephew, was

there with Joe during Anna's phone call.

From several interviews (especially Joe Edeta, Astrid Ames, and Vaughan

Dresner), library articles, and Forensics you learn that the pot --

specifically, the design on the pot -- held some significance. Examining

the design on the pot as sketched in Elk Moon's journal, you notice two

peaks. Later, if you examine the pot found in the van and placed in the

Evidence Room at Police Headquarters, you will discover that the design on

the pot was changed. Why would someone go to the trouble to change the pot

design? What significance did the pot's design hold?

In the library, there are several mentions of the casino site being located

at the base of the "double-peaked" Sangre de Cristos mountains, as well as

a photo of the mountains. An article states that Ed is working closely with

the Pueblo Tribal Offices (Sonny Two Feathers) on the casino development,

which will be located at the base of the double-peaked Sangre de Cristos

mountains. Further, the caption under the picture of the double-peaked

mountains also calls out the historic "double-peaks."

If you closely examined the pot drawing and the photograph, you would

realize Anna made some connection between the pot's design and the Sangre

de Cristos mountains. If the kiva pot design was indeed a drawing of the

Sangre de Cristos, could that possibly signify that the kiva site was

located somewhere in the vicinity? Being an arch anti-casino activist,

couldn't Anna use that information to stall the casino development, which

was just about to be approved -- per the library article? Who would be most

upset by this news? Ed and Sonny. In an article, Joe Edeta states that his

nephew (Sonny Two Feathers)'s "vision has been clouded by the lure of the

white man's riches," implying that Sonny has "sold out" in some respect.

After McHorse's arrest it is clear he was framed. Who would have had access

to him? Who of the suspects would know McHorse to be able to frame him?

Additionally, McHorse was drinking at the Saguarro Bar the night of the

murder in Nambe. Sonny Two Feathers was at the Bristlecone Bar in Nambe the

same night. In a library article you discover that the Saguarro Bar and

Build any type of TOWER you know. Put some of your military

units behind the TOWER so the other players you are playing

with cannot see. So then when they attack the tower your

units come out and kill your oppents!

Turn always run [caps lock] on! Even with it on I find your character still

moves way to slow but at least it's faster than walking.

Don't forget to use your night vision goggles! The first three stages are VERY

dark, and even gamma correction doesn't help you too much. Using the night

vision goggles however makes it much easier to see, and makes missions that

much easier to complete successfully.

Enemies are yellow or red dots on your compass, and your partner is a blue dot.

You fail a stage if you OR your partner dies.

Your partner can be very stupid at times and run in front of you while you're

sniping, as you can imagine it sucks to fail a mission for sniping your

partner. For the most part he stays behind you though, so you should be

alright.

In the later missions your partner can get himself killed trying to hunt down

anything that moves, so it sometimes helps to set him so that he doesn't fire

and stays in one spot while you take out some enemies yourself.

When sniping you get much steadier aim the lower down you get. By laying flat

on the ground your aim improves the most and you're that much harder to hit, so

it really makes things a lot easier.

The game autosaves for you at the start of each stage, but you can also use

quicksave (F6) to make things easier or save (via the menu) in one of the five

save slots as needed. I've had the game crash on me, and I had a guard get

stuck in a spot where I couldn't kill him once making it impossible for me to

finish the stage.

to opponents part of the center court circle and then press the

shot(d) key. Your player will kick the ball high towads your

attractive goal (bicycle kick).

Word of caution: If you are not on the opponents half when you

first time press the shot button your player will just shot the
