In Gothic 3 it are two ways to open the console the first is to modify

the ge3.ini file. The second is to type Marvin in the game.

The second cheat discovered is a bug very usefull. It work with some items

( plants, some potions, and other you can use) First use the item.

When the efect of the item starts close the inventory.

This is a good way to obtain life without cheating.

Jumping from the clif:

You can greatly shorten your way if you go strait from clif, but

not around it. While jumping (walking from the clif), press your hero to

the wall (if walk forward is W, than you have to press S) and when he

lands, no life will be taken.

Runing in water:

While swiming, look at the map. When you turn off the map, your hero will

not swim, but run and it doesn't even matter how deep the water is.

Completion Bonus:

When the player completes a level, the ball falls into one of five bonus

slots at the bottom of the screen. These slots normally offer 10,000,

50,000 and 100,000 points. Clearing all of the pegs in a level causes all

of the slots to offer the maximum award. Additional bonuses are tallied as

well, such as the "Cool Clear" bonus and 10,000 points for each unused ball.

These bonuses are summed together in a "Fever Bonus", which is then added

to the player's total score for the level.

Saving a green peg for the last shot that clears the board significantly

increases the player's Fever Bonus.

I have 2 tips that come in handy:

Hospitals:

----------

If there is a Hospital nearby, send any injured gangsters there and they will heal.

This comes in handy if your office or hideaway is too far away. I recommend that you

make sure that the hospital is within your territory just to be safe. If it's not,

just claim a nearby building that includes the hospital in the claimed turf.

Shoot & Hide:

-------------

You can get your gangsters (especially Assassins) to pick off a lot of enemy gangsters &

muscle by shooting at them then quickly hiding in a nearby building. Most of the time,

they'll come running, look around, then go back to their routine. As soon as they turn

around and walk away, shoot at them again and hide! *Note - This doesn't always work

because some of the enemies are smarter and they'll throw your gangster out of his hiding

spot. Just use it whenever possible!

To gain extra money you must first have not bought too many tracks. End the game

if it is not already closed. Go to the location of your file. Usually it is stored

under C:\program files\EAGames\Hot Pursuit 2. Next go into the file called tracks.

In this folder you should find a text file called tracks, open it. If you scroll

down you will notice that all of the tracks are grouped in an organized order.

you should notice three or four numbers with some of them being different and

some of them the same. All of these numbers should be in the thousands. Change

all of these numbers to a negative number such as -60000. You may wish to change

all the numbers for each track to a negative number. Exit the program clicking

YES to save. Start the game and buy a couple of tracks, when you buy them the

computer will end up paying you money. You will know if you have done the program

correctly if the computer says the track costs -60000. Also you can switch the

track to backward!

I bet this is the best cheat in this edition of NFS.

The result will make every gamer and car lover laugh.

This invovles some editing work.Open your NFS folder,

then open cars folder.Open the folder of car you want

to edit.For eg-'elise'.It will have many subfolders.

Again there will be a folder named car,[car_hp is the

nfs version of the car and car_cop is obviosly the cop

version].You can edit any version.

{But be sure to drive that version}.In the car folder

you will actually see that EA has written that tuning

of the car is possible.Select the matter from

AeroDragCoefficient=x.xxx to FinalGearRatio=x.xx.Delete it.

Don't close that folder.Then open any other car folder for

eg-'f1lm',copy that car's AeroDragCoefficient=x.xxx

toFinalGearRatio=x.xx. in the initial car's folder.

Close the folder accepting the canges.This literally means

you change the engine of the car.[Backup the initial car's

folder if you want to drive the original car].

This has unbelievable results .How about this,the elise which

goes only till 200kmph was clocked 345kmph by me.Don't change

any other matter.Because that can damage the graphic settings

and programming of the car.Write to me if you enjoy this cheat.

You can create your own car by this.Any person knowing about

tuning can make their own creation ,for eg-a Holden with

m_numLaps[4]=1

You will be required to play only "1 Lap" for each race!!

m_numLaps[2], m_numLaps[3], m_numLaps[4] indicates that it is a four race event

2,3,4 indicate race number

i.e when no. of races > 1 some where it will be written as

m_numRaces=4 or m_numRaces=3 or m_numRaces=2.

Easy Win Champship:

Always keep your finger poised over the repair key so you can

save yourself from disaster should you fall off a building or

wind up on the receiving end of an opponent's vicious attack.

If you're not quick enough you could end up getting wasted.

To complete the mission in which all of the escaped mental

patients must be killed and a lone patient is located atop an

inaccessible plateau, drive to the base of the hill where the

straggler is standing. Then honk your horn continuously.

He'll eventually panic and fall to his death.

If you wish to maximize your credits in any given level, forget

about completing the race. Instead plan to waste all but one of

your opponents and then use the bonus time you've established to

clean up on the pedestrians and power-ups. Once you've had your

fill, you can waste the final opponent to end the level.

Door Cheat

During the game, if there are a bunch of peds,

press shift then enter and you will open your

doors and kill them (press enter again and you

will close the doors and you will have to just

hit enter any other time).

Retail Version:

If you want a quick cheat, you will have to edit the

...\data\Peds\Settings.txt file

(... is the directory into which you installed Carmageddon 2).

Near the start of the file (in the general stuff section) you

should see a line that has three numbers followed by the text

"// Points score per ped (each level)". Edit the threenumbers

to three other larger numbers. This will change the number of

credits you win for killing pedestrians.

In addition, on the line below you should see three numbers

followed by "// Time score per ped (each level)".

Increasing these three numbers gives you more time per

pedestrian killed.

While playing Carmageddon2, I figured out a way to

take off at the start of a race before the announcer

finishes counting down: As soon as the race comes up,

and you arer ready, hold down the Z key or your wheel

spin while holding down the gas, then let go of the

wheel spin key and keep on the gas, the anouncer will

say, "Hey you!" and then you're free to take off with

a mighty advantage way before the announcer finishes

counting down!

for the mission; control freak, i've found a much easier way of completing

the level not included. if you go to the runway strip on the east of the

level, ride all the way to the end and you'll find an earth ramp to reach

over the water. the first red crate is electro-bastard ray, then quickly

make your way to the tower using the east jump ramp to launch yourself,

provided you come within a realistic distance of the tower the ray will

kill all four controllers with ease, level finished in under a minute.

for the game. The Chakra skills are defined as one of the following variable names,

i've seen the tip in cheatcc.com and found myself disappointed because there is not

enough cheats or hints. Well most of the files in the savegame directory are editable

however, it is too complicated to understand like the global.gs.

However, you can try the item duplicating technique that I discovered to do this do the

following:

Search a place where you can put the things that you want to duplicate. Example is at

cabinet at the inn of villacredo or wherever you want to place it. then save your game.

Then take it back to your inventory and save your game into another slot.

Now go to the savegame directory and find your save number

[hint: every save number has its own description.txt file you can open it to know your

savegame name].

When you found the savegame directory that have the items where you put it, copy all

files and directories in it and paste it to the savegame where you take back all items

to your inventory. finally load the last savegame. This technique is exactly similar to

the Fallout 2 duplication technique.

Still har to understand? well this is the easy but another way:

1: drop the items on the ground

2: save your game to slot 1

3: pick all dropped items

4: save your game to slot 2

5: goto to savegame directory and copy all the files and directories in save1

6: paste it inside save2 directory and overwrite it

7: load save2 and have fun!

Duplicate Items

---------------

This allows the player to duplicate any item of their

choice. All you need is the item you want to duplicate

and any belt item.

Put the item you want to duplicate on the ground

Walk away from it but keep it on the screen

Click on the item (this should make you walk back

towards it)

At the exact same time you pick it up, click on a

belt item. (You should have picked up the item anyway.)

Open your inventory

-------------------

Put the belt item in an empty space in your inventory.

If done correctly, your belt item should become the

item you wanted to duplicate once in the inventory.

Phantom Duplication Trick

-------------------------

Note: This trick will work with any item you can place

in your belt (potions & scrolls) but the duplicate items

are phantoms and will only exist in your inventory!

To perform this cheat you need to have all 8 slots on

your belt filled. You also need 9 items you can drop,

as well as the item you want to duplicate. Find a

location that has an open space at least 4x4 in size

and stand in the middle of it. Drop 9 items from your

main inventory. This will create a square of 8 items

around you with you in the middle standing on the 9th

item.

Return to your inventory screen and replace one of the

items in your belt with the item you want to duplicate.

When you've done that, highlight the item in your belt

that you want to duplicate, press the X button, then

press the triangle button. You'll be returned to the

game screen and a duplicate of the item you highlighted

on your inventory screen will drop outside the square of

items. Go pick up this item and return to the middle of

the square of dropped items and repeat the process until

you have duplicated as many items as you want.

IMPORTANT: The item you want to duplicate MUST be in your

belt, not your main inventory, for this trick to work.

The items you create using this trick will work just like

the real thing and they will sell for the same price as

the real thing, but if you attempt to drop the duplicate

it will vanish! Also, if you attempt to save your game

with a phantom object in your inventory, you'll get an

error and could possibly lose your previously saved game

as well, so be forewarned.

The best way to take advantage of this cheat is to use

the duplicated items immediately. For example: dup an

Identify scroll to identify an item and save the 100

gold piece fee; dup Strength, Magic, Dexterity,

Vitality or Spectral Elixirs and immediately use them

to boost your stats; dup that *Rare* and expensive scroll

to make some quick cash!

Skip FMV sequence:

After completing the game online, hold [Alt] and press [Tab] to

skip the ending sequence.

Place an item in your belt. Take the item to be duplicated drop it on the

click the Left Mouse Button on an item in your belt immediately before

taking the item on the ground. If timed correctly, the name of the item

that was duplicated will appear in the box down below. It will have the

same appearance as the item on the belt that was clicked on. Drop the item

on the ground or place it in the back pack and it will re-appear correctly.

However, do not create a second item of the same type and put both on the

ground. If this is done, the duplicate item will be destroyed.

Customize hot key messages:

Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of

the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "diablo.ini" file

in the game folder. It contains the hot key messages that can be changed.

Keep more items:

In the town square by Cain the Elder, drop an item on the ground that you

wish to keep out of your inventory but do not want to get rid of. Then,

immediately save the game. The item will be in the town square until you

pick it back up.

Stronger:

After starting a new or saved game play until your character gets to a

level status that you want. Save the game and click "New game" Click on

your character, then click "OK". When the screen appears again, do not

click on "Load Game". Instead, click on "New game" to start with all your

stats and items intact from the previous game.

Killing groups of monsters:

Get the Fire Wall spell from the Adrea the witch. Make two walls of fire wall,

side by side. Run away in the opposite direction of the monsters. If positioned

correctly, they will run through the fire walls and be killed.

Defeating hordes of monsters:

If you are facing a horde of monsters that you do not want to crowd around you,

get on the side of a doorway opposite the monsters and stand directly in front

of it. By doing this, only one enemy at a time can attack you and you do not

have to worry about being overrun.

Potion in ring slot:

--------------------

Start a new game. Make sure the water in the well Cain is standing next to is

dirty. Then, go down to the second level and complete the Poisoned Water Supply

quest. Talk to Peppin. He will give you the Ring Of Truth. Save the game, bring

up the menu, and select "New Game". Click on the name of your character and

select "New Game". Again, make sure the water in the well is dirty. If it is

not, keep starting new games until it is. Go down to the second level and

complete the quest again. Peppin will give you another Ring Of Truth. Put both

rings on, save the game, and start another new game. Open your inventory. You

should still be wearing one Ring Of Truth but in the place of the other one

should be a Rare Bottle Of Mana. The bottle has all the statistics of the Ring

Of Truth.

Note : If you take the potion out of the ring slot, you will not be able to

put it back on.

Duplicate large items:

Put the item to be duplicated on the ground. Put a mana potion or another item

on your belt. Walk a few steps away, then click on the item on the ground.

Right when you pick it up, click on the item placed on your belt. Drop it

on the ground. If timed correctly, it should turn into the item to be duplicated,

and the original one will be in your inventory. This also works with money. Do

not put both the duplicated item and the original item on the ground,or one will

disappear. Note: This cheat will not work if the inventory window is open.

Faster starts:

Experiment with the game. There are an almost unlimited amount of

set-ups. Once you get your car built, test it thoroughly to get

familiar with it. This allows you to cut good lights and run close

on your dial-in. Depending on your preference, you may want to try

deep staging, which is going farther down to where the pre-stage

light goes off. This will make your reaction time better, but will

give your car less roll out time (less time to start accelerating

before the elapsed time clock begins).

You can speed up the in-game time by adjusting your the

system clock while the game is running.

Here is how you reach the milestone:

Make your villager gathering firewood in the southwest area, then make

your villager gathering dry shrubs from northwest near coconut tree.

Next, you drag villager to the firespot.

To build a dam you must advance in engineering first, then you can build

it in the river. Just drag your villager there.

-=-The Scarecrow-=-

Once you build the dam, you will get a farm right away. Sometimes you cannot

harvest your crops because it has been eaten by parrot (curse them!). If you

have a master farm, just drag him/her to twisted pieces of wood and vines on

northeast near sacred area of the dead. You must drag him/her 2 times to make

a scarecrow.

You must purchase exploration first, then you drag your master scientist to

sacred area of the dead, there you'll find 3 sharp stones. Then drag her/him

again to twisted pieces of wood and vines.

Just drag any of your villager to all strange plant in the island (there are

six of them) :

1st near the dry shrubs (i'm not sure what kind of plant is that),

2nd near thorn bushes (rose-like blue flower),

3rd in the sacred of the dead (sun flower-like purple flower),

4th in the sacred of the dead (a group of black flower),

5th near thick vines in the south east (red flower),

6th in the south (big orange flower).

Just make your villager mastering 3 skill and he/she will become esteemed elder.

A totem will be made for him/her.

-=-Sustainable Fishing-=-

The ocean is full of algae? yes, that's disgusting. Just fully research of farming,

and drag many of your master scientist to lagoon, they will catch algae-eating fish

and release them to the ocean. After a while, the ocean will be cleared and you have

unlimited fish to catch.

You just need to fully researched in culture.

-=-The Stew-=-

If you have advance in exploring, drag your villager to dry wood, there she/he will

find a cauldron.

To make a stew:

1. You'll have to drag a villager to fire spot (he/she will prepare a stew),

2. Then drag him/her again to there (this time he/she will add water to the stew),

3. One more time drag villager to fire spot (this time to add food to the stew),

4. Then drag villager to any strange plant (you need 3 strange plant).

Here is the stew i've discovered (number of strange plant based on herb mastery above)

- 1, 2, 3 ==> clear nose and throat

- 1, 2, 4 ==> Makes thirsty

- 1, 2, 5 ==> Makes nature calling
